Objectives and short summary of activities: GIS information tools, all kind of data (health, geologic, climate change, population growth, and social and development infrastructure) will be processing in a same GIS data Base. The result will be free and under GPL licence.
Target/Beneficiary community: Social and development project, Hospital, environment and land manager, Research center
Technology used, standards and services employed: Geo-django, postgis, Mapwindow, Mysql and PhPmyadmin
Research activities carried and out and scientific data generated: Adaptive capacity of populations to climate change
Risk areas (epidemics, floods, conflicts, fertile land, and drought) are known
The influence of climate change
Social programs are better developed
